Pe tot parcursul anului 2019, cat am organizat Atelierul de muzica, am fost martora unor deschideri emotionale minunate, a unor schimbari de convingeri limitative binefacatoare, a unor acte de incredere si curaj nemaivazute. A unor oameni care si-au gasit vocea si curajul de a se exprima, a unor adulti care au decis sa faca pentru ei insisi ceea ce parintii lor nu au putut: sa isi ofere sansa de a invata sa cante la un instrument muzical.
Am ras nemasurat si am legat prietenii ce se transforma incet dar sigur intr-o comunitate muzicala: una in care este ok sa incerci, este ok sa gresesti, una in care cu cat esti mai autentic cu atat esti mai apreciat, in care ne sustinem si ne ridicam reciproc, o comunitate in care singura persoana cu care esti incurajat sa te compari esti tu insuti/insati. ♥

La cea de-a patra editie din 2020 a Atelierului de Muzica vom aprofunda relatia cu ritmul, atat cel interior, cat si cel exterior. Cum ne gasim constanta si cum ne adaptam la schimbari ritmice? Acestea vor fi intrebarile la care vom incerca sa gasim raspunsurile cu ajutorul muzicii. Te astept cu drag! ♥

Elena Sstrings: Am absolvit Universitatea de Muzica din Bucuresti, unde am studiat muzica clasica. De aici m-am intors in timp spre muzica Evului Mediu, activand in diverse formatii de acest gen (Truverii, Ad Hoc) si spre muzica folclorica nationala si internationala. Pe acest drum “inapoi” am ajuns la muzica popoarelor, la muzica ritualica si, in prezent la cea de vindecare.
In fond, atunci cand cant, ghidez oamenii spre Sursa, in timp ce eu insami ma intorc acolo. De aici, cea mai autentica parte din mine comunica prin muzica cu cea mai autentica parte din oameni si atunci intervine vindecarea.
De fapt, am vindecat oameni prin muzica dintotdeauna.

On the second edition of 2020 of this Music Workshop we will deepen our relationship with our voice: we will find out how it works, how we mantain it and how we use it to express ourselves authentically. Through practical activities, individual and in groups, we will experiment the impact of our voices and how more voices influence the outside reality. I am enthusiastic about meeting you! ♥
I laughed beyond measure and made friendships that are slowly, but surely, developing into a musical community: one where it is ok to try, it is ok to fail, one where you are appreciated for being authentic, one where we support and lift each other up, and where the only comparison that is encouraged is with yourself.

On the fourth edition of 2020 of this Music Workshop we will deepen our relationship with the rhythm, the one we have inside and the one that we are exposed to from the outside. Through practical activities, individual and in groups, we will try to answer these questions: How do I find my inner rhythmic balance and how do I adapt to changes of rhythm? I am enthusiastic to meet you! ♥

** We will approach practically and theoretically these subjects: voice, rhythm, melody, harmony, musical notation, improvisation, composition **
*** You don't need to have any musical experience to participate ***

Elena Sstrings: I am a graduate of The National University of Music from Bucharest, where I've studied classical music. Starting from here I went back in time to the Middle Age period, being a violonist in different medieval bands (Truverii, Ad Hoc), and to national and international traditional music. In this journey I got fascinated with ritual music, tribal music and healing music. Actually, when I play, I return to the Source and guide people from there. From this place, the most authentic part of me communicates through music with the most authenthic part of people, and healing begins. Actually, I've healed people since forever.
